Frontiers supports the Resource Identification Initiative for reproducible methods

Frontiers supports the Resource Identification Initiative for reproducible methods

Authors are encouraged to use Research Resource Identifiers for antibodies, genetically modified organisms, software tools, data, databases, and services.
Frontiers is pleased to support the Resource Identification Initiative, designed to make research methods more reproducible.

Authors can easily participate. All you need to do is to include Research Resource Identifiers (RRIDs) in the Materials & Methods. These are unique, international identifiers that can be used by search engines to find articles.

RRIDS are currently available for:
Antibodies | please include Manufacturer, Catalog number, and RRID
Genetically modified organisms | include RRID
Software tools, data, databases, and services | include Name and RRID

You can find the correct RRIDs at the Resource Identifier Portal
