Prof. Alumit Ishai

Brief Biography
Alumit Ishai received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science. She did her post-doc training at the Laboratory of Brain and Cognition at NIMH, and is currently an Assistant Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Zurich. She investigates, using fMRI, the neural mechanisms of visual perception, mental imagery and episodic memory. In 2006 Dr. Ishai received the Young Investigator Award of the Cognitive Neuroscience Society.
