The given lecture will focus on the "cognitive advantages" of multilingualism and illustrate the impact that being multilingual has on the cognitive organisation of the brain. Practical questions regarding multilingual education will also be discussed. Pascale Engel de Abreu is a developmental psychologist and an associate-professor in psychology.
