Our analysis of the Journal Citation Reports and CiteScore metrics shows Frontiers journals rank among the most influential in their academic fields in terms of total citations - including top most-cited in neurosciences, immunology, microbiology, plant science, physiology and psychology.

Most cited journals in the 2019 JCR update
