A Retraction of the Original Research Article
Application of periodic structural wave impeding block for vibration isolation in foundation

by Ling Y, Zhu X and Song L (2023). Front. Mater. 10:1256098. doi: 10.3389/fmats.2023.1256098

Following publication, the authors contacted the Editorial Office to request the retraction of the cited article, due to concerns about the duplicate publication (English version of a previously published paper by other authors (who also contacted the Editorial Office)) of the Frontiers in Materials article and China Civil Engineering Journal 高盟,孔祥龙,赵礼治.周期结构波阻板的带隙特性研究[J]. 土木工程学报, 2023, 56 (07):147–156. DOI: 10.15951/j.tmgcxb.22020168. An investigation was conducted in accordance with Frontiers’ policies that confirmed this; therefore, the article has been retracted.

The retraction of the article was approved by the Chief Editor of Frontiers in Materials and the Chief Executive Editor of Frontiers of Frontiers. The authors agree to this retraction.
