The ongoing reforms in national healthcare services and a renewed focus on primary care and outpatient services have ignited a vigorous debate within the healthcare professions in recent years, after the worldwide healthcare crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A greater attention is paid to the contributions by health professionals of the technical, rehabilitative, and of prevention areas in terms of values, competences, and trainings paths to this discourse. So, there is the growing imperative for these health professions to engage in research. The Italian SAPIS Research Center (Studies and Action for Innovation in Healthcare), operated by the Italian National Federation of Orders of Diagnostic, Rehabilitative, and Preventive Technical Health Professionals (FNO TSRM & PSTRP) has provided a significant platform to gather and compare research experiences conducted by these professionals during the 1st SPRING COLLOQUIUM SAPIS – 2024, themed "Research and Innovation in Healthcare: The Contribution of Technical Health Professionals in Diagnostic, Rehabilitative, and Preventive Areas" (May 9th and 10th, 2024 - Villa La Quiete, Via di Boldrone, 2, 50141- Florence). Researchers have the opportunity to jointly discuss on the main area of interests (i.e., health management, training, multiprofessional approaches, best practice, innovation) to offer constructive ideas for reflection about the reform of Italian national healthcare service and European ones.
