2025 Voice AI Symposium

The Voice AI Symposium is an annual event from the Bridge2AI-Voice Program. The 2025 event occurred in Tampa, FL from April 22-24 and featured a full day Hackathon event in addition to a scientific conference. As part of the NIH Common Fund’s Bridge2AI-Voice initiative, this symposium serves as a multidisciplinary platform fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovation among researchers, clinicians, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and patients working at the intersection of voice technology and healthcare. With the central theme "Translating AI Research into Reality: Implementing Voice Biomarkers for Transformative Healthcare", this year’s program emphasizes the translation of cutting-edge voice AI research into practical, real-world applications. The agenda includes keynote addresses by leading experts, thematic panel discussions, interactive demonstrations of emerging technologies, and dedicated training sessions for the Bridge2AI-Voice dataset. A key feature of the symposium is the Hackathon, designed to encourage active experimentation, cross-sector collaboration, and the development of novel solutions using voice-based biomarkers. Ethical considerations surrounding the use of voice data in clinical contexts will also be a central topic of exploration.
