We are pleased to present the proceedings of the 28th Annual Meeting of the Australasian Society for Psychophysiology (ASP2018) held 19–21 November, Deakin University, Geelong Waterfront Campus, Victoria. Our 2018 conference delved into brain behaviour relationships, while surrounded by a glorious waterfront view. The themes of ASP2018 included: • Electrophysiology and neuroimaging: shedding light on the human brain • Non-invasive brain stimulation: probing neuroplasticity • Clinical cognitive neurosciences: mental health, ageing and disease • Basic neurophysiology: What simple science can teach us. As a largely student oriented conference, ASP2018 provided an opportunity for emerging cognitive neuroscientists to share their research insights, network and forge new connections.
