The purpose of ECAE’s second International Conference on Educational Neuroscience is to highlight the educational impact of neuroscience research, by presenting cutting-edge developments in neuroscience that have implications for health and learning. A multidisciplinary approach is taken, looking at the most reliable approaches in cognitive neuroscience, brain imaging, brain plasticity, neuropsychology, health and medicine, and technology. Educational neuroscience aims to bridge learning, cognition and the brain. It aims to learn from the wide-ranging neuroscience research about how the typical (or atypical) brain works in order to generate more scientifically informed educational practices and policies. The conference was organized over two days in Abu Dhabi, with talks, poster sessions, and workshops.
