Formal Methods is a novel open-access publication platform that encourages
interaction among diverse areas of Formal Methods for software engineering, both applied and
theoretical. Our aim with the section is to provide an interactive platform for a timely and comprehensive communication of new developments in these areas.
We call for papers addressing the following topics:
Programming logics and theorem proving ‒ formal systems for the specification and deductive verification of programs.
Model-checking ‒ algorithms for the automated analysis of semantic models of
Semantics of programming languages ‒ formal description of the
behavior of programs.
Run-time verification and testing ‒ formal analysis
of the run-time behavior of a program.
Tools ‒ implementation of formal
methods which supports computer-aided verification.
‒ application of formal methods to industrial applications, including a
comprehensive description of the tools involved and the (reproducible)
