ABSTRACT=Coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 has been dominating our lives for a little over a year now, affecting every aspect from health, economy to social interactions. In addition to known complications of viral infections such as heightened immune responses, COVID-19 presents with serious cardiovascular sequelae that need to be urgently addressed. With our limited knowledge of disease pathogenesis and how to counteract such complications, this review highlights a critical cardiovascular pathway, the Notch signaling pathway that is likely linked to COVID-19-associated complications.
