ABSTRACT=The electrocrystallization mechanism of Mg electrode in aqueous electrolyte was comprehensively investigated.  The dimensionless processed transient curves confirmed that the initial nucleation/growth process of Mg electrode in aqueous solution followed the diffusion-controlled three-dimensional instantaneous nucleation model.
