Social Evolution welcomes submissions on social behaviour and the evolution of the underlying mechanisms that facilitate this behavior. It aims to promote advances beyond taxonomic boundaries and will publish articles from across the taxonomic spectrum, from bacteria, invertebrates to vertebrates.

All manuscripts must be submitted directly to the section Social Evolution, where they are peer-reviewed by the Associate and Review Editors of the specialty section.
