The Health Policy and Organization specialty section of Frontiers in Health Services will publish interdisciplinary research on evidence-based health policy-making options, experiences in health systems and organizations aiming to foster health gain, equity, solidarity, efficiency, transparency, accountability and responsiveness, health system performance assessment, and management and evaluation of health services, with the aim of ensuring patient safety and improving the quality of health services.

Scope
The Health Policy and Organization specialty section of Frontiers in Health Services will publish interdisciplinary research on evidence-based health policy-making options, experiences in health systems and organizations aiming to foster health gain, equity, solidarity, efficiency, transparency, accountability and responsiveness, health system performance assessment, and management and evaluation of health services, with the aim of ensuring patient safety and improving the quality of health services. This section will help to bridge the gap between academics and policy makers for better decision-making in improving health service delivery.

Health Policy and Organization welcomes submissions of the following article types: Brief Research Report, Case Report, Classification, Clinical Trial, Correction, Data Report, Editorial, Erratum, General Commentary, Hypothesis and Theory, Methods, Mini Review, Opinion, Original Research, Perspective, Policy and Practice Reviews, Policy Brief, Review, Study Protocol, Systematic Review and Technology and Code.
All manuscripts must be submitted directly to the section Health Policy and Organization, where they are peer-reviewed by the Associate and Review Editors of the specialty section.
