Herein, we report a 14-year-old girl with MPA who developed new-onset seizures with deterioration of renal function. Her brain CT scan and MRI showed concurrent complications of intracerebral haemorrhage and posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES). She got remission with the treatments of methylprednisolone i.v. pulse, plasmapheresis, regular hemodialysis, antiseizure medication and well blood pressure control. In literature, this is the first case with intracerebral haemorrhage and PRES in one patient with MPA. Through a systemic search of the medical literature, we retrieved 6 cases of MPA with PRES and summarized their clinical characteristics.
