TFPBs reduce surgical site pain by blocking nerve conduction while decreasing reliance on systemic analgesics, such as opioids. This narrative review evaluates the analgesic efficacy and mechanisms of TFPB in non-surgical pain management, exploring their clinical value and future development prospects.
