The patient initially presented with painful defecation and recurrent fever. Diagnostic procedures, including MRI, CTE, and FDG-PET/CT, revealed signs consistent with Crohn’s disease and an enlarged abdominal “lymph node” suspected to be a schwannoma. Despite exclusive enteral nutrition, the nodule persisted, complicating further treatment. Surgical resection confirmed the diagnosis of schwannoma. This report highlights the diagnostic challenges and treatment complexities when Crohn’s disease coexists with rare tumors such as schwannomas.
