The scope of the section pediatric ophthalmology is broad. We publish work on all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology, from experimental research to clinical papers and review articles. In particular we wish to promote novel ideas and approaches to the subject. Unlike print journals we have no limit to the number of articles we can publish.
Our ultimate goal is to promote the health, development, education and well being of children throughout the world. We wish to achieve this through international cooperation and communication. By providing free online access to readers we can ensure that your publications have the maximum worldwide coverage possible.
Pediatric ophthalmology encourages submissions from pediatricians, ophthalmologists, orthoptists, scientists and public health professionals relevant to pediatric ophthalmology. We shall endeavour to develop and maintain a knowledgeable, progressive thinking panel of subsection editors and reviewers. The Editorial Board provides prompt, professional and constructive reviews of all articles submitted. All published articles in Frontiers in Pediatrics are indexed in PubMed.
