ABSTRACT=As a common pathologic process of heart failure caused by different cardiovascular diseases, cardiac remodeling involves in inflammation，fibrosis，autophagy, energy metabolism disorders and so on. Studies in recent years have shown that there is a close correlation between autophagy and energy metabolism in various heart diseases such as cardiac hypertrophy, diabetic cardiomyopathy and ischemic heart diseases. In this review, we summarized the role of autophagy and energy metabolism in cardiac remodeling and discuss the relationship between them in different conditons in order to find new targets and strategies for the treatment of cardiac remodeling.
