In the published article, in Section 1.1. The research puzzle, paragraph 5, there was a missing full stop punctuation mark at the end of the sentence below. This has now been corrected.
“Making voting and counting accessible to the public, as practised as a substitute in many “old” Member States, or the accreditation of observer groups without respective legal frameworks (e.g., Latvia), are insufficient replacements for legal provisions for accreditation.”
In the published article, in Section 1.2. Citizen election observers and democracy promotion, paragraph 3, the phrase “the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, 2005b” was corrected to “the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and Code of Conduct for International Election Observers (OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, 2005b)”. In the same paragraph, the phrase “(OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, 2005b, Paragraph 16)” was also corrected to “(Declaration of Principles, OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, 2005b, Paragraph 16).”
