In the face of the challenge in the pluralistic society, students must be able to cope with changes in external and internal environment in the dynamic society. Additionally, new events occur anytime in campuses that may result in campus risk. Frequent campus risk events in the past years resulted in difficulties for school administrative units to deal with. The execution of campus risk management strategies and the implementation of risk awareness education are therefore necessary. Being in a technologically dynamic era, is another factor that makes risk awareness and proper risk management are essential for individual efforts of survival and organizations’ sustainable development. University students in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province composed the participants of the study. 300 copies of questionnaire were distributed, and 238 valid copies were retrieved, with a retrieval rate of 79%. The research results show that “life education” is the most emphasized dimension while it was followed by “curriculum and instruction” and “environmental planning”. Top five most emphasized indicators, among the 14 indicators, are opportunity education, exercise, role-play, team competition, and learning area planning. According to the results, it can be suggested that in case of emergency, school administrative units can take the control and reduce the chances of school members being threatened or harmed by the risk factor, and educators can make a prompt decision to change the risk into opportunities, which are the critical roles.
