Regardless of specific challenges in a low resource country, the Vietnamese government had provided sustainable response capacity and rapid decision to manage the entirety of the COVID-19 outbreak with lessons learned from the epidemic of SARS in 2003 and H1N1 in 2009. Quick response, specific epidemiological F0-F5 tracing system and public education represented as a key measures that helped Vietnam to control the outbreak. Vietnam has currently reported 373 accumulated confirmed cases and no cases of deaths was reported, within the last 90 consecutive days of no new infections in the community. Vietnam mulls declaring the end of COVID-19 crisis.
