Methods: From April to May 2020, selected 6630 college students from 6 universities in Shandong Province by stratified random sampling. Used descriptive analysis, χ2test, and Logistic regression for statistical analysis. Results: 35.5% and 55.8% of college students believed it necessary to participate in emergency education activities, and 65.8% of college students participated in emergency education and training activities. Multivariate analysis showed that male, sophomore, medical students in the province, only children, good health, emergency education courses, and think it is necessary to participate in emergency education, the school attaches great importance to education, believes that the professional teacher level to meet needs, know a public health emergency, prevention, and treatment of infectious diseases and other emergency education of college students higher participation rate of emergency education training activities. Conclusions: The willingness of college students to participate in emergency education in Shandong province is high, but participation in emergency education and training activities is low. Gender, grade, professional and student nationalities, whether it is only children, health, the school courses in emergency education situations, the value of emergency education, emergency education to participate, the degree of teachers' professional level to meet the requirements, a public health emergency condition as well as the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases such as emergency education are the main influencing factors for college students' participation in emergency education and training activities in Shandong Province.
