Responsible Leadership is a speciality section of Frontiers in Sustainable Business. The focus of the Responsible Leadership section is on the micro-foundations of sustainable business.
We invite papers from different disciplines (e.g. management, positive psychology, philosophy, sociology, health, medicine, natural sciences and the arts) that are related to the individual side of responsible leadership in for-profit or non-for-profit settings at the individual, interpersonal, team, organizational, board and/or societal level.
We are also interested in papers that discuss the context of leadership (e.g. geo-politics, organizational culture, stakeholder culture) and contribute to developing leadership systems and processes (e.g. human capital management, diversity management, talent and leadership development, change management).
We specifically welcome papers that are innovative in ideas and approach, and foster critical thinking.
Papers can be conceptual/theoretical or empirical. We accept different theoretical and empirical paradigms and a wide range of methodological approaches (e.g. quantitative, qualitative, neuroscientific).
