The present study shows an RT-qPCR assay capable of simultaneously detecting and quantifying IBV and 3 AMPV genotypes, showing itself to be an effective, rapid and useful tool for the early diagnosis of these pathogens that cause respiratory disease in poultry, allowing the identification of pathogens and allows decision-making to control diseases. Furthermore, it shows that some of these viral genotypes are circulating in poultry farming in the region where the study was carried out, due to single infection or coinfections between these viruses.
