Research on Genius, Eminence, Experts and Expertise, High Achievement

Journal of Genius &
Eminence

The Journal of Genius and Eminence is a new scholarly periodical focused on the most exceptional human talents, the influences on and results of those talents, and contexts in which they develop and flourish . With these objectives, the Journal of Genius and Eminence is, and must be, interdisciplinary.

Devoted to rigorous research, the Journal of
Genius and Eminence
will rely entirely on peer review and an outstanding Editorial
Board:

Dean Keith Simonton (University of California, Davis)

Arthur I. Miller (University College, London)

Harriet A. Zuckerman (Columbia University)

Jinghuan Zhang, (Shandong Normal University, China)

Giovanni E. Corazza (Marconi Institute, Bologna, Italy)

Robert Root-Bernstein (Michigan State University)

Selcuk Acar (International Center for Studies in Creativity, SUNY Buffalo)

James Kaufman (University of Connecticut)

Andrei Aleinikov (International Academy of Genius,
Monterey, CA)
.

Mark Runco (Torrance Professor of Creativity Studies, University of Georgia, Athens) is the Editor. Email: mark.runco@journalofgeniusandeminence.com

The Journal of Genius and Eminence welcomes historical, psychological, sociological, and
neurological articles. The approach is interdisciplinary and may include
perspectives not listed above. Historiometric studies are especially welcome. Case
studies of geniuses and eminent individuals will be published, as long as they
are well-connected to existing scholarship. Articles focused on the concepts of
“genius” and “eminence” (rather than on particular geniuses) will certainly be
considered, while entirely speculative papers are outside of the scope of this Journal.

Papers should be submitted to the Editor and not exceed 30
manuscript pages. Shorter manuscripts are preferred. Preparation for blind
review is the responsibility of the author. The Journal of Genius and Eminence follows APA guidelines, which preclude piecemeal and duplicate
publication. APA guidelines for human subjects and experimental procedures are
also followed. Copyrights will be transferred to The Journal of Genius and Eminence upon acceptance for publication.   Articles will be available online and in print.
