About this Research Topic
Carbon-based nanostructures and their composite materials have seen increasing attention in biomedical research because of their unique optoelectronic properties, reliable chemical inertness efficient visible-light photoactivity, rich photoinduced electron transfer properties, high stability, cost-effectiveness, and non-toxicity. Thus there is a critical need to explore more these nano-carbons for diverse applications in biomedical research.
This Research Topic has been conceptualized some of the advances and challenges in this field. We are especially interested in the high-quality contributory research papers and state of the art critical reviews on the following topics:
