The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic poses serious threat to public health worldwide and has a substantial impact on many aspects of our society. Mobility sector is one of the industries most affected by the pandemic, due to its role in virus transmission and close link with other socio-economic sectors. The shifts in the transportation patterns have a far-reaching implication for the development of sustainable mobility, including walking, cycling, public transport, alternative energy vehicles, etc. The present Research Topic is devoted to providing insights into the complicated relationship between COVID-19 crisis and sustainable transportation. To this end, a wide range of influence factors need to be considered, and different theoretical tools and analysis methods will be integrated and advanced.

This Research Topic aims to:
- Identify the impediments and opportunities created by COVID-19 for the transition of sustainable mobility.
- Assess the role of sustainable mobility in COVID-19 crisis with multi-criteria decision analysis method.
- Understand how the COVID-19 reshapes consumer preferences and behaviors in sustainable mobility.
- Analyze how the sustainable transportation technologies and services are adapted to the conditions of the emergency.
- Develop business models to promote sustainable mobility in post-COVID-19 period.
- Evaluate the policy and regulations in different countries.
