About this Research Topic
Musculoskeletal ultrasound is becoming an important and effective tool for the diagnosis of various soft tissue and joint disorders. It is accurate, safe, affordable, efficient, and dynamic. Musculoskeletal ultrasound is also a useful tool for guided therapy. The advances of musculoskeletal imaging in recent years present new opportunities for disease treatment, but also raise new challenges. Learning musculoskeletal ultrasound has become a must for physiatrists during their training course and MSK US is extending its use to other disciplines such as primary care orthopedic surgery and physiotherapy.
We have therefore attempted to provide an online place to collect the most up-to-date advances in musculoskeletal ultrasound, whether they pertain to diagnoses, treatments, or technological improvements, allowing researchers and physicians to communicate their ideas and learn new knowledge.
Therefore, in consideration of the emerging advances of musculoskeletal ultrasound, we welcome any type of contribution (original researches, reviews, perspectives, etc.) investigating the aforementioned issues, and contributors from any related discipline.
