The goal of this Research Topic is to highlight novel data collection procedures, study designs, and intervention approaches that leverage advances in digital technologies to prevent and treat tobacco use.
Contributions to this collection of articles may focus on:
(a) new data collection approaches that leverage digital technology to gain a better understanding of tobacco use and novel mechanisms of change
(b) innovative intervention approaches that leverage digital technology to enhance accessibility and scalability of tobacco use prevention and treatment
(c) new interventions that harness digital technology to adapt and individualize tobacco use treatment and prevention
(d) research employing novel experimental designs and/or data analytics to inform tobacco use prevention and treatment
