Precision medicine brings hope that one day, risk assessment, disease prevention, and treatment approaches will be personalized based on our individual genetic variants and lifestyle. To achieve this goal, advances in nutrigenomics research are needed to elucidate the role dietary intake and nutrition play together with our genetic make-up and downstream biological processes to influence human health.
This Research Topic on Nutrigenomics aims to both review and highlight recent advances in nutrigenomics research that will help fulfill the vision of Precision Nutrition.
