About this Research Topic
This series aims to highlight the latest experimental techniques and methods used to investigate fundamental questions in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, from molecular to integrative functions. This Research Topic includes technologies and up-to-date methods which help advance science. Novelty may vary, but the utility of a method or protocol must be evident.
The aim of this Research Topic is to bring together techniques used from basic to clinical research, and we welcome the following article types:
• Methods: describing new methods or existing methods that are significantly improved or adapted for specific purposes. These manuscripts may include original data.
• Protocols: detailed descriptions, including pitfalls and troubleshooting, to benefit those who may evaluate or employ the techniques. The protocols must include design, selection/treatment of subjects, interventional methods, and data analysis.
• Perspective or General Commentaries on methods and protocols relevant for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias research.
• Reviews or Mini-Reviews of topical methods and protocols highlighting the important future directions of the field and discussing its advantages and limitations.
