The authors of Short Oral Communications and Posters that will be presented at ICN2014 are kindly invited to submit a manuscript (either a review article or an original contribution) for publication in a Research Topic of the Neuroendocrine Science section of Frontiers in Endocrinology entitled "Trends in Neuroendocrinology".

The articles of this Research Topic will be compiled into a free of charge e-book and we would like that this e-book becomes a major reference for neuroendocrinologists. All manuscripts will thus be peer-reviewed and only papers that meet the standards will appear in this Research Topic.

Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
