About this Research Topic
This Research Topic focuses on novel diagnostic technology for detecting the African Swine Fever Virus, aimed at stimulating new ideas on how to improve the prevention and control strategies of ASF. In particular, submissions on studies focusing on basic virology, pathology, epidemiology, genetic variation and evolution, virological and immunological diagnostic methods, and host biomarkers for early diagnosis of ASF are highly welcome.
We welcome submissions of high-quality articles including Original Research, Reviews, and Mini-Reviews. Manuscripts covering, but not limited to, the following themes are welcome:
- Field and Pathology diagnosis of African swine Fever Virus
- Isolation, Cultivation, and Identification of African Swine Fever Virus
- Epidemiology, Genetic variation, and evolution of African Swine Fever Virus
- Virological diagnosis of African swine Fever Virus
- Antigen and Antibody detection tests for African swine Fever Virus
- Host biomarkers for early diagnosis of African swine Fever Virus
- Novel diagnostic technology for ASF elimination and eradication
