Global collaboration is the cornerstone of scientific advancement.

Frontiers in Systems Neuroscience has organized a series of special edition Research Topics, with the goal of highlighting the latest advancements in the Systems Neuroscience field across the globe, showcasing the academic excellence and high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers.

This collection aims to shed light on the recent progress made across the entire breadth of the field and reflect on the future challenges faced by researchers across Asia.

We welcome all article types accepted by the journal that explore the following topics from a purely systems neuroscience focus:
- memory and learning
- sleep and cognition
- cognitive performance
- movement
- neuroplasticity
- anxiety-like behavior
- network studies of cerebral vascular abnormalities and epilepsy
- damage to neuronal networks

Please note, contributions to the collection are by invitation only, however, please contact the Editorial Office if you are interested in submitting a manuscript. Authors must be from Asia or currently working in the region.
