About this Research Topic
The pathophysiological mechanisms of some complex CNS diseases such as Cerebral infarction, Cerebral infarction, Traumatic brain injury, Spinal cord Injury, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease are still not fully understood. The rapid development of genome, transcriptome and epigenetic studies in recent years has broadened researchers' understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms of CNS diseases, providing new directions for the treatment of CNS diseases.
The topic of the research is epigenetics advances in CNS diseases, such as methylation, acetylation, phosphorylation, miRNA, and lncRNA. We accept review and original research articles,including but not limited to:
- Molecular mechanism of epigenetics(Including CNS diseases such as Cerebral infarction, Cerebral infarction, Traumatic brain injury, Spinal cord Injury, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease, as well as research on the biological processes involved in CNS diseases such as inflammation, neurodegeneration, mitochondrial dysfunction, and cell death);
- Bioinformatics research of epigenetics in CNS diseases;
- Drug development and pharmacological mechanism research of epigenetics in CNS diseases;
Keywords: Epigenetics, Central Nervous System diseases and injuries, Regulation, Molecular mechanism, Drug development, Pharmacological mechanism
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements.
