About this Research Topic
The research topic aims to collect and disseminate state-of-the-art advances in biomaterials and biomedical engineering to a global audience. It generally covers the applications of new bioactive materials as drugs, cell/drug/gene carriers, imaging probes/devices, and tissue engineering scaffolds that provide diagnostic or therapeutic modalities for clinical practice. We hope that this research topic will promote the development of bioactive materials.
This research topic focuses on recent advances in bioactive and biomimetic materials. Original research articles, reviews, and mini-reviews are welcome. The following topics may be included:
