About this Research Topic

Manuscript Submission Deadline 16 July 2023

Water is one of the most prominent resources in the world and is vital for life for most organisms. However, water depletion and deterioration are occurring due to soaring growth of population and rapid development of civilization. It is urgent to investigate the water resources and environment in an efficient way. For decades, large datasets detailing water resources, aquatic environments and hydrological systems have been collected. Various chemical and physical parameters of water resources cannot be well analyzed in traditional methods, such as correlation analysis and diagram analysis. Machine learning and numerical simulation have been the novel approaches in the 21st century and are being applicated in more and more cases.

The aim of this Special Issue is to solicit quality research works on Advanced application of machine learning and numerical simulation of water science.

Keywords: Water Resources, Water Science, Water Environment

Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
