Asthma is among the major chronic non-communicable diseases (NCD) affecting both children and adults. The goal of asthma control is to reduce morbidity and mortality, hence, improving activity, participation the overall Quality of Life (QoL) of individuals with asthma.
The Research Topic aims at identifying the challenges and barriers to achieving asthma control. The Research Topic will also provide the current trends in asthma control including assessments and improving QoL of individuals with asthma.
Suitable themes for manuscripts include, but are not limited to:
• Advances in pharmacological interventions in asthma control
• Evidence-based non-pharmacological interventions in asthma control
• Multidisciplinary approach to achieving asthma control
• Short- and long-term strategies in achieving asthma control
• Challenges and barriers to achieving asthma control

• Asthma control strategies and their impact on quality of life
• Challenges in controlling asthma and comorbid allergic rhinitis
