About this Research Topic

Abstract Submission Deadline 30 April 2023
Manuscript Submission Deadline 01 July 2023

New financial technologies (FinTech) are seen as key enablers of financial inclusion. The UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (UN-2030-ASD) and the G20 High-level Principles for Digital Financial Inclusion (G20-HLP-DFI) highlight the importance of FinTech in reducing financial exclusion and income inequality.

The kinds of contributions considered are cutting-edge theoretical or methodological developments for the analysis of this issue. Furthermore, this Research Topic aims at acquiring, managing, and interrogating large data sets and at implementing advanced statistical modeling to investigate the interrelationship between FinTech and financial inclusion.

The deadline for manuscript submission is July 1, 2023. Early submission is encouraged.

We welcome papers on topics such as latent class modelling, mixture modelling, classification, machine learning, predictive models, model selection, small and large-scale data. Papers may be motivated by an application or focused on methodological or theoretical innovations, following the aims and scope of the journal.

Keywords: latent class modelling, mixture modelling, classification, machine learning, small-large-scale data

Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
