About this Research Topic
In light of previous studies, biomimetic principles are becoming one of the major nano-manufacturing strategies and are forming billion-dollar endeavors in the next decades. Besides the promising future in the design of new drugs, biomimetic principles are capable to change the application of therapeutics, bringing smart and accurate cardiac drug delivery platforms. The goal of this Research Topic is to cover all aspects related to recent research innovations in biomimetic nanomaterials for diagnostic and imaging platforms for CVD.
We welcome Original Research, Review, Mini Review, and Perspective articles on themes including, but not limited to:
• self-assembly, hydrogel, bio-inspired hybrid materials for CVD treatments
• multimodal sensing and imaging
Keywords: hybrid nanomaterials, hydrogel, self-assembly, cardiovascular disease, imaging
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
