The advanced joint communication, sensing and computing for next generation network will provide more efficient services for smart cities, intelligent transportation, intelligent manufacturing, smart home, environmental monitoring and other fields. The emerging applications in the next generation network share these common features: high-speed computing response, reliable wireless communication capability and robust, high-precision sensing performance.

The joint communication, sensing and computing technology enables spectrum, computation platform and signal processing to be shared among communication, sensing and computing, thereby improving the spectral efficiency, energy efficiency and hardware efficiency of the system and obtaining integration gain. Additionally, multiple assistance and gain of the three functions can further improve their respective performance, thus obtaining cooperation gain.

This Research Topic aims to bring together contributions focusing on interdisciplinary methods to promote joint communication, sensing and computing for next generation network We welcome contributions include but not limited to:

- Distributed edge computing systems with communication and sensing ability
