About this Research Topic
This Research Topic on Advancements in Power Electronic Converters and Renewable Energy Integration aims to focus on recent advances and new trends in the field of renewable energy integration, energy storage, control techniques, stability, and reliability, including power converter topologies, and renewable energy management systems. We invite original manuscripts that present recent advances in these fields.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
New power converter topologies in renewable energy applications
Energy storage for renewable energy applications
Modeling, design, and control of power electronic converters
Advanced control techniques for renewable energy and smart grid integration
Grid integration for renewable resources
Stability analysis of grid-connected renewable resources
Communication technologies for smart grid integration.
We welcome contributions that provide a new perspective on these topics or present a novel approach to the design and implementation of power electronic converters in renewable energy integration.
Keywords: Renewable Energy Integration, low carbon, greenhouse gas emissions, grid integration, energy storage, power converter topologies, modelling, design, electronic converters, smart grid integration
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
