About this Research Topic
Recently, NIR-II imaging has been extensively studied and used in life sciences and medical research due to its lower background and higher penetration depth. The combination of novel imaging technology and therapeutics can achieve early diagnosis, precise positioning, in situ treatment, as well as efficacy monitoring during treatment and prognosis, promoting the development and clinical transformation of multi-functional nano-drug. The purpose of this research topic is to gather a collection of latest studies in NIR-II imaging nano-drug, toxicological research of nano-drug and the related fields. We welcome research articles and review articles that explore the use of NIR-II imaging technology in multi-functional nano-drugs, as well as other related topics. We encourage researchers to submit their latest findings and progress to help advance our understanding of this rapidly growing field. We welcome Original Research, Review, Mini Review and Perspective articles on the themes including, but not limited to:
• The design and synthesis of novel NIR-II fluorescence nanoprobes and exploring their diverse applications in bioimaging
• Disease diagnosis and therapy
Keywords: NIR-II imaging, Biomaterials, Imaging diagnosis, Novel imaging technology
