About this Research Topic
Malnutrition is prevalent in critically ill children. Association between malnutrition and poor clinical outcomes has been demonstrated. Adequate nutrition can potentially improve clinical outcomes in this group of vulnerable children. Much progress has been made in the field of pediatric critical care nutrition over the past decade. A review on this important topic is timely and aims to provide the readers a recent overview of the research that is being performed in this area of pediatric critical care. We are welcoming original studies, reviews and viewpoints in this field.
