About this Research Topic
However, the implementation of AI in obstetrics and gynecology has had an impressive development despite the many challenges. There are currently several fields of application of artificial intelligence in the medical and gynecological field. New knowledge provides for the optimization of tumor board results up to clinical diagnosis, creating predictive and reproducible models. There are still many challenges and limits of these methods to be understood. It will be very interesting to observe in the coming years how artificial intelligence can combine with technological development in the surgical field. It will probably be possible to integrate pre-operative information with intra-operative information, allowing for more precise and personalized surgery.
This Special Issue aims to disseminate the most recent research results and developments in artificial intelligence, with a special focus on their practical applications to gynecology, obstetrics, laparoscopy, robotics, pathology, optimization, and other fields.
This collection invites Original Research, Clinical Trial, Meta-Analysis, Review and Mini-Review papers contributing to optimizing patient selection, identifying predictive factors for response, and improving oncological and obstetrics outcomes in patients with gynecologic diseases.
Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Gynecological Surgery, New Technologies, Personalized Medicine
