Study Phase Transitions in Equilibrium and Out-Of-Equilibrium Models

About this Research Topic

In equilibrium Statistical Physics, there are models like Ising, Potts, Blume-Capel and others that present a phase transition at a critical temperature.

In nonequilibrium Statistical Physics, models like voter, majority voter model, Sznajd are in use that also present a phase transition at a critical noise, probability, density and other parameters.

In both equilibrium and non-equilibrium models, Monte Carlo simulations are used to understand the critical properties of these models.

In this Research Topic, we welcome contributions that address studies of equilibrium and non-equilibrium models and systems. In addition to the studies of the above models, we also welcome studies that use these models on several complex networks like Barabási-Albert networks, Erdös-Rènyi random graphs and others.
