Despite considerable progress in diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating these injuries, leading to better outcomes for young athletes, the complexity of managing injuries in a developing musculoskeletal system remains a significant challenge. Innovative injury prevention strategies have been developed but the diverse nature of these injuries still presents tough clinical decisions.

This Research Topic aims to highlight the latest advancements and ongoing challenges in the field of pediatric sport-related trauma. It seeks to explore new insights into the prevention, diagnosis, and management of injuries among young athletes, emphasizing both well-established and emerging issues in the context of contemporary sports environments.
