This Research Topic aims to explore the underlying factors contributing to stigma and discrimination in legal contexts, while seeking innovative strategies for intervention. The goal is to thoroughly examine the role of legal labeling in shaping identity, self-perception, and the psychological consequences for victims and offenders. Moreover, solutions are sought to address bias in forensic evaluations, judicial decision-making, and intervention programs.
