The integration of transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR), computed tomography (CT), and nuclear imaging facilitates an in-depth, comprehensive view of cardiac anatomy, function, and tissue properties. This holistic approach is pivotal for the precise evaluation of complex valvular abnormalities, myocardial diseases, and congenital heart defects, empowering patient-centric decision-making and improving procedural and treatment outcomes.

This Research Topic is dedicated to showcasing the latest breakthroughs, innovations, and clinical applications of multimodality imaging in structural heart disease and cardiomyopathies.
